How to get started in blogging

I would like to share to my own experience in how to get started in blogging. I had no idea that I am going to be doing a blogging website before. My interest was how to start an online business that could supplement my income when I retire. I searched the internet and I’ve come across Wealthy Affiliate and their offer of free website building caught my interest.

As a Free Starter Member, I was able to read and try their training tutorials and read the success stories of the members who mostly made some doing website blogging. I found it very interesting so within a week I joined their Premium membership and got started with a Free website. That was how I got started in blogging.

One requirement in being successful in blogging is to find a niche in an area that you are passionate about. It might be easy for you if you really know what you really wanted. In my case, I did a lot of searching and researching for a niche related to my desire to help people become healthy.

Do you know that you can get started for free? At first, I thought that it could cost a lot of money to have my own website and that you have to be tech savvy to build one. In Wealthy Affiliate, I learned that even ordinary people with no technical skills can learn it. You don’t even have to be a writer. I have seen ordinary people evolve to become expert bloggers and make good money out of it.

It could be a challenge to find a niche that matches you but once you found what you are really passdionate about, it becomes easier. In my case, having started on a niche on health information, although very interesting, was quite a challenge because of the limits on information that should be in the area of health professionals. However, the abundance of information on the internet makes it very doable if not easy. All I can say is anybody can do it.

My Chosen Niche

I have decided to write articles about health and welllness because of my desire to help people particularly older adults like me in their senior years because I can easily relate to their health problems and I am also aware of their common health challenges. In this website, I intend to discuss common health problems, nutritional supplements, excercise tips, and reference reding materials like books and other publications and magazines.

I also would like to encourage everyone to share their ideas and opinions and suggestions about important health matters that could benefit the readers.
